Secluded forested location on Sawtooth Mountain ridgeline 3 miles from Grand Marais, Minnesota. Longest operating bed and breakfast in region since 1986. 4 guest rooms each with privath bath. Spacious beamed common area with attached deck to enjoy views of Lake Superior 1000 feet below. Vast network of trails maintained year round to inn's front door including Superior Hiking Trail (210 miles long) and Pincushion Trail (15 miles long). Lodge to Lodge hiking packages available. Mountain bikes available for rent. 30 minute drive to Boundary Waters Canoe Area wilderness.
In winter, 25 kilometers of groomed and tracked crosss country ski trail at doorstep.Seperate snowshoe trails available. Ski and snowshoe rentals at inn. PSIA certified cross country ski instructor also at inn.

windows with breathtaking views of forest and Lake Superior in distance.
