BED AND BREAKFAST near Pornic and the atlantic coast
Colette and Michel will receive you with great pleasure at their house, called the "blue shutters house"
In a splendid rustic setting, you will enjoy your stay near the seaside and in the heart of the Retz country.
Located in south of BRITTANY at the outskirts of Chauvé village, near Pornic, the Caillerie will attract you thanks to the quietness and the greenery setting.
You have 4 comfortable rooms at your disposal. Each room has a private modern bathroom, a separate outside entrance and a terrace, and its own charm.
This accomodation bears a GITES DE FRANCE label (3 stars)
In the morning, a copious continental breakfast is served, either in the dining room with a view of the great garden or outside on the terrace from the early beginnings of the fine weather.

Attractions |
The Loire in the middle, the Atlantic on either side. The whole a panorama of greens and blues. That is our county.
On the coast, with its series of beaches and coves, its rocky coastline and its typical small fishing ports, the Loire-Atlantique coastline has everything to attract lovers of sea and sand, sea air and bathing, in the sun and in the sea.
There is something for everyone’s taste.
Inland, the county is more Loire than Atlantic, with its vineyards and charming streams, woods and pathways where you can wander In peace, on either side of this royal river.
Visit towns and villages : Pornic, Saint-Brévin les Pins, la Baie de la Baule, Guérande, Le Croisic, Nantes - ville d'art et d'histoire -, le Parc Régional Naturel de Brière, le vignoble nantais...But also islands of Noirmoutier and Yeu.
Fly with RYANAIR (from London-Stansted, Dublin, Shannon, East Midlands until Nantes) and hire a car to stay some days with us in our BED AND BREAKFAST (40 km from Nantes airport ). |

Access to Caillerie is located on the D5 and CHAUVE between SAINT-PERE-EN-RETZ
From PARIS the A11 Océane until NANTES. Direction NANTES ATLANTIQUE AIRPORT - NOIRMOUTIER then direction PORNIC (D751).
From BORDEAUX A83 - A10 - until NANTES. Then take direction NANTES ATLANTIQUE AIRPORT - NOIRMOUTIER then direction PORNIC (D751).
-- Exit D5 direction ARTHON-EN-RETZ/CHAUVE. (Just after the exit to CHEMERE)
-- At the roundabout, take the leadership of CHAUVE, cross the small village "Haute-Perche" and go straight to Chauvé (see map below).
-- At CHAUVE, at the roundabout, turn left and continue toward the D5
SAINT-PERE-EN-RETZ (you will then emerge from Chauvé).
- At about 2.5 km from the sign indicating the end of the village of CHAUVÉ take 4th road left towards the Caillerie (in descending - panels GITES DE FRANCE and Menhirs).
- A 600 metres, take the 1st road to the right, the house is located at the bottom of the impasse (parking available). |
